Recording: Any piece of music, meditation, vocal, or other content owned by Mei-lan Maurits LLC.
Production: One creative work – e.g., one video, podcast episode, course module, or remix – in which the Recording is used.
Derivative Work: A new musical or audio creation that transforms or incorporates a Recording (e.g., a remix or sampled track).
Social Media Platform: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.
Video-Sharing Platform: YouTube, Vimeo, and similar.
License Tier: The pricing level (Tier 0 – 3) based on Licensee’s income or reach.
Multi-Use Upgrade: Optional add-on
Each license covers one Production and lasts in perpetuity.
License fee determined by the 4-Tier Framework:
Licensee warrants all self-reported information is accurate. Misrepresentation allows Licensor to reclassify or revoke the license.
Licensee may not:
Licensor may revoke a license (without refund) if the Recording or any derivative use:
Upon written notice of revocation, Licensee must cease all new distributions of the Production. Prior good-faith uses remain valid unless they materially harm the Mei-lan Maurits brand.
